To want to be a part of my world as I do yours.

To want to nurture my dreams as I have nurtured yours.

To be committed to sharing the emotional weight of our relationship, as a team.

For us to be that impenetrable, loving partnership that is unshakable when things get tough. To embrace and celebrate the good and the not so great. To value and respect our relationship enough to do what it takes, so that we get to have the rest of our lives at each others’ side.

That’s what I mean.

Write me an explanation to my ex-boyfriend. But it will never be sent as he remains committed to misunderstanding me.
